Archivorum in Venice

Archivorum is delighted to have hosted an exclusive event that illuminated the significance of artist's books in creative expression and archival preservation, which took place at the esteemed Palazzo Trevisan degli Ulivi on April 17, 2024.


The event underscored our commitment to fostering innovative collaborations between artists and publishers, aiming to revolutionize the way artist's books are perceived and utilized as catalysts for societal and cultural change.

Archivorum Conferences

Participants engaged in discussions about the art of publishing and the creation of artist's books, exploring Archivorum's collaborative endeavors.


  • Publishing as an Artistic Tool

The session featured artists Luis Lázaro Matos, Simon Starling, Luca Trevisani, and publisher Winfried Heininger of Kodoji Press, moderated by Alice Rigo Saitta outreach officer at Archivorum.


  • I Want to Make Another Book Right Away 

This discussion included artist and publisher Jason Dodge and Céline Fribourg, founder of Édition Take 5, moderated by Lorenzo Benedetti, curator.


Archivorum Speed Date

A unique opportunity was provided for artists and publishers to connect through speed-date style meetings from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM in private rooms, encouraging the birth of visionary projects under the Archivorum×M initiative.


Archivorum Book Launch

The event also celebrated the launch of "Circular Tension", a book delving into the remarkable life and work of Nil Yalter, authored by Prof. Dr. Omar Kholeif and published by mousse, with the support of Archivorum. The presentation featured Nil Yalter herself, alongside her interlocutor, Prof. Dr. Omar Kholeif, and honored Yalter's outstanding contributions including her receipt of the prestigious Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement.
